《國際植物生產(chǎn)雜志》(IJPP)是一份同行評議的研究期刊，由高根農(nóng)業(yè)科學(xué)與自然資源大學(xué)(GUASNR)出版，年刊四期。還出版專門討論單一主題的特刊。人口和生活水平的急劇增長引起了人們對現(xiàn)代農(nóng)業(yè)的糧食生產(chǎn)、可持續(xù)性和環(huán)境影響的嚴(yán)重關(guān)注。將來，必須用更少的土地生產(chǎn)更多的糧食。另一方面，盡管近年來植物分子生物學(xué)和植物生物技術(shù)取得了巨大的發(fā)展和基礎(chǔ)研究，但這些研究成果在解決植物生產(chǎn)中的應(yīng)用卻十分緩慢。在這方面需要作出許多努力。為了滿足世界糧食需求，需要迅速生產(chǎn)科學(xué)知識和技術(shù)轉(zhuǎn)讓。國際期刊在這方面發(fā)揮了重要作用，它們及時發(fā)表了相關(guān)的前沿研究成果。關(guān)于這一點和工廠生產(chǎn)的日益增長的社會科學(xué)家和越來越多的手稿提交給國際期刊,Gorgan大學(xué)農(nóng)業(yè)科學(xué)和自然資源(www.gau.ac.ir), Gorgan,伊朗在其50周年(2007年),推出了國際期刊的植物生產(chǎn)(www.ijpp.info)有一個分享科學(xué)生產(chǎn)在國際層面。

International Journal of Plant Production (IJPP), a peer reviewed research journal, is published by Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (GUASNR) in yearly volumes of four issues. Special issues devoted to single topics are also published.The dramatic increases in population and living standards have led to serious concerns over the food production and sustainability and environmental impact of modem agriculture. In the future, more food must be produced on less land. On the other hand, irrespective of huge development and basic research in plant molecular biology and plant biotechnology in recent years, application of the findings to problem solving in plant production has been very slow. Much effort is needed in this regard. Rapid production of scientific knowledge and technology transfer is required to meet world food demand. International journals do play important role in this aspect by publishing timely, relevant and cutting-edge research results. Regarding this point and the growing community of plant production scientists and increasing number of manuscripts submitted to international journals, Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (www.gau.ac.ir), Gorgan, Iran, on its 50th anniversary (in 2007), launched International Journal of Plant Production (www.ijpp.info) to have a share in scientific production at international level.
